Executive Summary

Executive Summary – TrackOne

Why

Scouting in soccer has long been constrained by time, visibility, and access. At major tournaments and ID camps, hundreds of athletes play across dozens of fields, but scouts can only attend a fraction of the games. In our interview with collegiate coach and recruiter Ben Smith, he explained, “The hardest part is there are so many kids you want to look at, and you have such limited time… if you’re sitting at one field, you can’t see all the other fields simultaneously.” This inefficiency leads to missed opportunities for talented players and inconsistent evaluations for recruiters. According to a 2024 report by Grand View Research, the global sports analytics market, driven by performance tracking and AI tools, is projected to reach $22 billion by 2030, highlighting the growing demand for data-driven decision-making in sports.

What

TrackOne is an AI-powered scouting system that uses drones, computer vision, and machine learning, key technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, to automatically record, analyze, and evaluate player performance. Our drones capture every match across multiple fields, while our AI platform extracts advanced metrics such as passing accuracy, duels won, distance covered, top speed, and body language off the ball. These data points generate comprehensive player profiles, giving scouts on-demand access to insights that were previously limited to brief in-person observations. TrackOne replaces fragmented note-taking with full, data-rich visibility, transforming how talent is discovered and evaluated.

Who

Our target market includes youth soccer organizations, college recruiters, and professional scouting departments. In the U.S. alone, there are over 3 million youth soccer players and more than 1,200 college soccer programs actively recruiting athletes. Through our primary research, an interview with collegiate coach Ben Smith, we confirmed that scouts face significant challenges when trying to evaluate players across multiple fields with limited time. Smith also noted that at younger levels, fewer resources and limited access to player film make technology like drones and AI especially valuable for efficient, accurate scouting.

Market Size

TrackOne will initially target U.S. competitive youth soccer, focusing on the top 10% of club programs, representing approximately 300,000 players. This represents a strong entry point with significant room for growth, as global expansion opportunities exist across Europe, South America, and Asia, regions where scouting networks face similar inefficiencies.

Competitive Advantage

Unlike traditional video platforms such as Hudl or Veosport, which require manual recording and limited analytics, TrackOne’s automated drone network and AI-driven analysis enable real-time, full-field data capture without additional labor. Our integration of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies makes scouting scalable, objective, and data-backed, bridging the gap between untapped talent and opportunity.

Pricing Strategy

TrackOne’s pricing model is structured to scale with client size and needs.
Tier 1: Local Academies and Colleges – $5,000 to $15,000 per year
Tier 2: Professional Clubs and Elite Academies – $25,000 to $60,000 per year
Tier 3: Leagues and Federations (Enterprise) – $100,000+ per year

Revenue Model

TrackOne generates revenue through three main streams. Subscription packages for clubs, tournaments, and academies (annual or multi-year options). Data access licenses for college and professional scouts. Performance reports for players and families seeking verified data for recruiting. This scalable SaaS model ensures recurring revenue and strong margins after initial equipment deployment.

Conclusion

TrackOne transforms soccer scouting from a subjective, time-limited process into a data-driven ecosystem powered by Fourth Industrial Revolution technology. By enhancing visibility for players and efficiency for scouts, TrackOne is redefining how talent is discovered and developed in modern soccer.
